Default Poison dart Frog

I have an assignment for college which asks for the handling/restraining techniques for a poison dart frog. I was wondering if any of you would have any ideas for me?

sorry cant help you on this one as i dont own any, there are plenty of websites concerning them and they all talk about the usual wash hands after handling them etc etc, there was one website that said use a leaf but they also did say that the indians used in a leaf, so unless you have a spare loin cloth handy...............pass!!!, sorry

Default dendrobates

firstly i handle mine as little as possible as they are easily stressed and could be damaged by handleing. when i do have to catch them to clean thier tanks out i usually usher them into a clean cricket tub with damp kitchen roll in it rather than handle them directly. if i do have to directly handle them (if they are not co-operating) than i just wet my hands and scoop them up i definately dont try to pin them or grab them as they would probably pop if i did as they are only tiny. oh just in case any one is wondering i keep them seperatly as the tincs would kick the sh*t out of the leucomelas and possibly interbreed too.

hope this helped a bit

Hows about spraying the tank with warm water as often as possible, as it needs to be moist anyways, just a suggestion as i'm not well up on amphibians !
