Default red eye tree frog help

I have what i believe to be a male(its smaller than the other) and a large female red eye tree frog.

I have had them for 1 week now and the female just seems to be always sitting sleeping on the side of the glass tank while the other is out and about, is this normal? doesnt look like she moves position often.

Does she not come out at night?

They often return to exactly the same place to sleep day after day. People call it their 'safe spot'

If she's not moving at all, it could be due to the stress of moving into a new environment so I wouldn't go waking or disturbing her.

My advice is don't get too worried yet, she may just need a little longer to settle in. Keep an eye on her, see if she's getting enough to eat and if not, in a few days maybe see if you can ask someone with abit more prefessional advice.

A member on here called 'Pollywog' may be useful to send an IM to. Or 'RedEyeDanny'. He's generally quite helpful.

my red eyes, sleep in EXACTLY the same spot every day! so this isn't anything to worry about just yet. but the other one up and about whilst she's sleeping, I take it you are talking about in the evening here, have you tried switching all the lights off in the room as well as in the tank? one of mine will only wake up if I do this, then you can keep a very close eye on her buy using bits of tape, sounds odd I know, but if you are sure she's not moving, try sticking bits of tape to the otherside of the glass lining them up to her snout and vent ends and you can see if she's moved, even if it is a tiny amount.
but honestly I shouldn't worry in the first few weeks, it may just be stress of moving to a new home. frog keeping is fun hey!! xx
