Default A local Froggy

Heres a few snaps I got of a frog who decided to hop across the garden

Is he anything special or just a common frog?

doesnt look like a common frog whatsoever!!!! you sure its not just a pet????

doesnt even look european
if it is a common frog its a very very wierd colour mutation

i've seen some weird and wonderful common frog colour variants but that (if it is indeed a common) is outstanding

no its not a pet, Just one that decided to hop across my garden I just had to take some pics it's about 3.5" head to bum x 2" wide.

sorry but i am convinced this is a joke or your pet or a relseased pet... from my research its not even in the genus 'rana' which is the common frogs, leopard frogs etc - the true frogs

it's possible that it's just an odd variant, not sure if the population up where you are will be all that large, resulting in more in-breeding and unusual offspring

i could be entirely wrong...

i know there are populations of bright orange common frogs up here
