Default glass layout diagrams wanted

New to dart frogs but have built for water dragon.

I'm looking to build a viv from scratch. Has anyone got any diagrams of the glass layout. Self draining, false bottoms. I will be using a spraying system.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks for the links.

I have looked at the E.N.T Viv's, with the drain and false bottom. Am I correct in thinking that under the false bottom stays empty? I thought the false bottom held a reservoir of water, as I have read that you can put an aquarium heater in to help heat and humidity.
Has anyone got any pics of one in use.

If you want a reservoir to house a water heater then you need a different type of false floor to those you'll see in ent vivs and similar, the "false floor" in ent vivs is just a sloping shelf that helps the water drain into a channel and prevent the substrate from becoming sodden. The best way to build a reservoir type false floor like your after is with plastic grills ("egg crate"). You could alternatively use hydroleca to form a drainage layer and bury the heater in this.

I thought that was the case. So whats the best? I would like a natural setup with a water feature in it. I will also have a misting system. In the E.N.T do you fill the drain with Hydroleca /substrate?

I prefer to use hydroleca as it also forms a natural filter and plants can root down into it and grow hydroponically.
Have a look at this article (Terrarium Setup) it shows you a simple setup with a waterfall using hydroleca.

Which system are you going for? Have you seen ours: Pollywog Misting Systems.

It all depends on how you want to set it up but yes you can fill the channel with a free draining substrate such as hydroleca or gravel the water then runs down the glass shelf into the channel through the drainage layer and out of the drainage hole.

Thanks for that. In the system you show, does the water build up from the misting, and do you have to drain it all down to change the water?

Water would gradually build up from misting but if you use a misting system with a low-flow rate (the Pollywog Misting Systems have a flow rate of just 0.075 ltrs per minute) coupled with a water feature moving heated water, and good ventilation you will probably find your water feature will cause more water evaporating away than you will have accumulating from the misting system.
