How to care for white-lipped tree frogs?
Finding someone who sells them is something for another day but these guys have caught my eye. Their in the same genus as white's tree frogs but their a little big bigger on average and have a white line on their bottom lip going to their neck.
Anyways I haven't kept amphibians before but If I decide to get a frog I think these ones are for me.
I have a 60x45x45 exo terra(it's the tall one). I assume this is plenty of space for one, not sure if they can be kept communally but I suppose if white's can be maybe these can be...
What I need to know is the equipment I'd need. Again since thesr are in the same genus as white's and come from the same area one imagines the care requirements are similiar. The main differences are how they look physically and how they behave, white lips are apparantly a bit more nervous.
So white's tree frog keepers could help me here to. What do you need to keep your frogs healthy? Do I need a basking spot for them, do I need to get a UV starter with a 2-5% UV tube? Do I need a heatmat on the side?
Any information would be great, especially when it come to exactly what equipment to buy for their heating and lighting needs.
