Default What type of albino? (Axolotl)

Hi all. From the spawn I got, 3 of them were albino, and I was just wondering if anyone can tell what type of albino? Or is it too early to tell?

Thanks

Albino..not sure why they call the golds this, but the white ones are leucistic. I don't think I have ever seen such long gills on an axy before!

They are golden albinos. White with black eyes would be leuistic, white with pink eyes would be white albino.

The golds are called albino because it is the albino gene that is responsible for them lacking any darker pigments. A white albino is both leuistic and albino, hence why both colours are refered to as being albino!

I think our babies are brother/sisters!

I did indeedy! 17 hatched.... I think it was split about 11 gold and 6 wild type. Sadly I lost most of them to a fungus! Entirely my fault, I think it must have been a water quality issue. I've got 5 left, 4 are gold and one wild type. Their back legs are just a tiny bit shorter than the ones in your photos, and they are little finger nippers!
I also have 17 leuistics that hatched recently - because I'm greedy!
