Default My new additions!!!

Just got a pair of USA green tree frogs from my local.

I am pretty certain they are north american. They were just labelled green tree frogs (and the shop were pretty useless)

They are about an inch at the moment and have the white stripes on their chin and legs.

They ate really well yesterday. munching lots of small brown crickets.
Anyone tell me different insects they can eat(i have looked on care sheets).

They are called Jabba and Yoda (Star Wars freak here)

here is the best pic i could get of one of them.

I want to get hold of a large exo terra now though and really show them off.

Thanks

My photography is rubbish, i'll try some different light.

Also these guys are eating like crazy. I know they are pretty young but will munch a like half a dozen no.2 brown cricks. Is that normal?

yes make sure theyre dusted regularly too.

from the pic they look like usa greens, but it's so small it's a bit difficult to tell propery, they could possibly be another species of american tree frog

They could be white lipped tree frogs? Those have white lips suprisingly! Also feed them daily calcium dusted crickets, as many as you can be bothered to feed, I fed my frogs about 10 or so a night each, little crickets can be fiddly! Stop feeding them daily when they have doubled in size and then only dust the crickets a few times a week. You need to raise them so they have big a strong bones!

i don't think white lipped, because their stripes start from their cheeks and they have the white stripes on their legs.

they don't have white lips

they look like agtf's to me lol. there stunning little frogs as far as i know young ones you feed everyday where adults can be fed every couple of days but honestly as long as they dont get overweight they should be fine

have a dig through here you will find some pics of usa greens in it.
Scottish Reptile Forums

there's some pics of other species also but there's reasonably good pics of usa greens.
i'm not convinced from your pic that the white stripe is in exactly the correct place for a usa green as it should go above the front leg and down the side.
