Default How best to grow moss?

I bought a sheet of supposedly 'lush green' moss but it's arrived as a sheet of dead pine needles with a few tufts of green here and there. What's the best way to encourage growth? It's in a plastic bag with air holes at the mo (which it arrived in). Am I right in thinking cool and damp? I'm considering cutting the bag open so the moss is exposed but still on the plastic, putting it on a windowsill and just spraying heavily once per day

I will gladly take any moss, plants, logs and sals you feel like rustling . Are you still planning on bringing some of that 'mind your own business'? I'll definitely take some moss please, this stuff is rubbish!

I have no idea what species it is, it was simply listed as moss!

Hmm, I would say take it out the bag and put in a tray or something and keep moist and see what happens
