Default red eyed tree frog care

how are these as pets what sort of care do they need tank size ect pics of sutups and the frogs all welcome

Have you ever kept frogs or toads before?

they are a great pet but are a visual pet only. they sleep in the day but are facinating to watch at night.

I would advise you not to get a RETF if the only experience you have had is FBTs. the care and requirements are alot different and red eyes are very fragile. i would start with a whites or something hardyer first.

i agree with knighty retf are not an ideal begginer frog, there care and requirements are totally different to fire bellied toads. go for one of the easier treefrogs first to gain experience

as knighty said, theyre only visual pets, but they are really cool to watch, i can sit there for hours just watching mine :}
