Default Fred acting funny???

I just went to mist Fred's tank, and he was stuck on the glass (on the door)...

This strikes me as odd, one becuase he is usually a late riser and was still sleeping an hour before, and two, because I have never, ever seen him on the glass...

Do you think he may have went for a cricket on the mesh top and banged into the glass? IF so, should I be worried he is hurt?

He has since woken, climbed round to the side of the glass, set for a while, then went for a cricket sitting on the balck rim of the mesh top...ha ha ha I didnt even see it but I guess he knew what he had his eye on.!

Paranoid or what? But for future reference...can they tell there is glass there you think?

i think they 'learn' the boundarys of the enclosure they are in so probably know there is glass there.

They dont reconise glass as such, how do u think phibs end up with nose rub. Yes they know something is there but They have no comperhention of what. easist way to avoid problems is not to have anything laying oround the viv that could lead them to get stressed or think they can eat the item

I actually thought that maybe he had went for something on the screen lid and bumped into the glass on the way down...had a good look at him today and there does not appear to be any injuries and he is back up on his normal leaf so I think my panic is over...It was just that is was so out of character for him
