Default Malaysian Frog ID Part 2..

Hi guys,

Ok, looking for help with the ID of the following frog. He was tiny, and hung around near my A-frame hut on Palau Pangkor, Malaysia. Got a terrible internet conection that won't let me load and pictures from the page I usually help me to id stuff, so I have absolutely no idea on this one. Like I say he was tiny, you should get an idea of size in the pics. The pics aren't great due to his size. Ok here goes, all informed comments welcome:

Hi Ollie,

It's an Ingerophrynus, but i don't know what species. I only discovered this genus this year, having to key out a similar species someone found in Malaysia, but that one was Ingerophrynus PARVUS, which this one may also possibly be, they're quite variable. It's long arms and distinct shape of head gave it away, but i would have to do some googling to key it out to the species... I'll leave you to do that!

Cheers
Al

Thanks Alex, good of you to come through for me again He was a fascinating little fella to watch as he started climbing the concrete, moved just like a human rock climbing and was very slow and methodical about it. I will hit the search engines and see if I can narrow down the species.
Thanks again mate.

No worries Ollie, keep the pictures coming - it's nice to see them. What else have you seen out there?

Cheers
Al
