Smile Heating for dartfrogs.

How do people heat Exoterra vivs other than with a heat mat?

My Repti Glo bulb provides some heat for my White's. Not a lot.

Thanks. How much does it raise the temp by. I am thinking of using an aquarium heater in the water and hope that is enoughto keep it warm during the night.

I'd say it raises it by about 5 degrees centigrade.
I've got a 5% UVB 26W but it's only in a 30 x 30 x 45
You might need a couple if your terrarium is bigger.

i have a terra fan under the hood with the lights and every half hour it blows the hot air in the viv, keeps it at 23 in the day, and temp drops to 19 at night.

Be careful not to increase the temperature too much... darts do MUCH better in cooler temperatures than warm ones! make sure your temperature NEVER goes over 80F
