Gota say tho i just had my niece and nephew over to see the latest addition to the family (Our horned frog) and they loved it. It came out of its hole as well which was nice. They also spent ages playing with my chicks and watching the countless other pets I have so I guess my last xbox comment doesnt apply to them all

There was and old ditch by the fields behind my house and i used to catch frogs everyday from spring to autumn, we caught aload of of different colours, greens, greys, yellows, reds loads, all the same species i presume, we also used to find loads of newts and tadpoles,

we never kept any used to always put them back, i remember when i was about 8/9 i found a dead one so i buried it and gave it a little funeral with my brother, and made a cross out of sticks

That's so cool! Right, I'm officially happy now it's been verified by someone else, would LOVE to see some pics if possible!

Awesome stuff, I thought I'd missed out on fame and recognition but it seems that there are similar stories out there. I had no idea they were polymorphic, need to find some top frog spotting locations now

Any other tales of multi-coloured common froggies??
