Default Megophrys nasuta...

Hi,

I have since some weeks a very nice adult pair of M.nasuta in my breed. But i've not found much information about her reproduction on the web. Have somebody information about the "Rain Room" to make for making the female lay eggs ? I have some amplexus , but no singing, and no egg laying. Sorry for my english, it's not my mother language

Hope somebody can help me.

Nicolas

Hi,

Thanks for the information. I will post ina few days the pics of the two terrariums that I have for them (one for humid season, one for the other season).

I'm from France, but very near from germany, that's why I can found this kind of frogs :=)

try a slope - as in like a beach try to slope the water onto the sand. that way they have a better choice of where they actually want to breed. It's something I used last time with my horns so i just want to recommend it

Hi Nicolas,

If you can read any German, "Der Zipfelkrotenfrosch" by Ziegler, Van Der Straeten and Karbe it probably the most in depth book you will find, it covers the aspects you are looking for and is a very good book

Der Zipfelkrtenfrosch - Megophrys Nasuta - Thomas Ziegler - Buch gnstig
