Default dart frog behavior....

hey guys
the other day i noticed that when my dart frogs are hunting
they hop around and they are 'tapping thier toes'
this isn't a cocern of mine, i was just curious....
so anyones knows please tell

Also called Digital fluttering, there is a number of reasons people think darts do this (other frogs and toads do it too), one might be to attact food, or to scare it so they see it move.

Predatory animals are ogten oberved twitching whilst hunting, my cat and my lizards do it but each in their own way, often its related to high levels of excitement and an inability to contol their muscle contractions as the contemplate attack!

mine do this too, perfectly normal

mine also do it i think it is to make there pray move by vibration.
