Default RE: HELP! Feeding Ornate Horned Frog/Fantasy Pacman

Hello,
My Fantasy Pacman frog is currently about 8 weeks old and I currently feed him three crickets and a wax worm with calcium dust ... is this enough?? or too much?? He/She munches them all up quite quickly and does this weird thing with his body, almost like he's stretching to squidge the food down ... he is still alive and looks happy just dont know if i am feeding him/her too much ...?!

Just found out that they use there eyes to push there food into there stomach which explains this. There stomach muscles then make seperate compartments to process there food. They are also huge eaters the member who mailed me feeds his 4 large mice and ten large locusts a week! Thought id post this here incase other people may want to no

i had a pacman about 18yrs ago when they first became available, they eat & eat& eat!!! fed mine quail chicks when it was full grown. great frogs.
best to vary the food. they will eat anything, so crickets, roaches, locust, pinkies, waxworns mealies.
just be prepared for their crap to smell really bad when they have the nice!!!!
enjoy !
