Default Fire Bellied Toads Tank

HI Guys,

I am going to be moving my fire bellied toads into a new tank soon and I was wondering if people have examples of what they have their FBT in that I can get some ideas from because I am not that good at interior design

Thanks

Can only tell you mine

I've got four in a 24 inch octacgonal tank; island in the middle, created by a pierced container containing the 'higher plants'- wheat grass and anubias- big piece of driftwood, pebbles and gravel mounding up toward the sland. java moss is currrently covering the land area, and making it's bid for World Domination.

We have adopted the fifty, fifty stystem, with real plants. The water area has a small filter ( fluval 1 ) to help keep the water clean. The surrounding walls of the tank are covered with real bark.

The creeping plants at the back are a mixture of Ficus Pumila and English ivy's. The main central plant is a common foliage house plant ( sorry forgot the name ) and the small leaved plant that is creeping on the ground to the right is a Varigated Ivy.

I use a tropical fish bulb ( the one that stimulates plant growth ) and a small Exo terra 2.0% uv bulb for the toads.

Mine isn't as extravagant as the one Morwenna has but here it is anyway.

It just needs a nice background (fake rock perhaps) and a few more plants on the sides as they seem to like climbing.
