Default exe-terra waterfall

Hey, I was wondering if anyone had owned an exo terra waterfall and if so how did they find them?
I know I may have to add pebbles to the pool to ensure the darts dont drown etc.

Ive been looking at them to help maintain humidity for for a dart enclosure as I dont want to go down the "build one myself route"

Thanx

Hi, I have used lots of these in my frog tanks, they are good for about a month, then they tend to block up very easily, no matter how much you clean them You can however, take them apart and clean them in a dishwasher (so I have been told) But personally I didn't like them and have stopped using them. I also worry about the bacteria levels in them, as they are hard to put fresh water in without taking them out of the tank, which means a hassle with the cables etc. I don't actually use any real water source (pools, waterfalls etc) in my dart frog tank now, just a water spray every couple of days and my tank stays between 85-95% all the time
My darts are thriving, healthy and very active!

Thank you for your reply, was exactly what I was looking for-some of the things you mentioned where some of the issues I was thinking could be a problem, thanx.

Do you have a planted enclosure for your darts?

Thanx

Jamie

if you really want a water feature then the best way is to build a false bottom and add a pump in there. Chondro13 has an excellent tutorial on doing this:

HERE

And yes i have a planted viv, search my name and some will come up.
