Default dartfrogs

Hi all,has anyone used rockoflex and elastopur 2 products made by ent for strenthening and waterproofing a polystyrene and expanding foam background? Do you know of any english alternatives? Does anyone know of a grounding product for glass[ie to give better adhesion to the glass for the foam and styrene].I am building vivs myself to the rana/ent design based on a 60cm cube, would this be too big for a male high trio of tincs or enough room for 5 auratus/leucs.Do the bronz giant[auratus] need to be kept cooler than the other auratus if so how much[i have read they live at altitude].Cheers guys and regards Stu and Shaz.

I have looked in the past with no joy. I am interested to see what the new epiweb IIS system will be like as a backgroud. Black jungle has a sep by step process to build a great backgroud.

morgan, i worry about the cement, dude, i worked buildind houses for several years this stuff is caustic ! It rips hell out of your hands: drys them out. Frogs" skin is so much more sensitive than ours, also, if the cement [plus surely some sort of binder] is to confir any rigidity, it must come into contact with many sides.Won"t this be to heavy.Plus mortar is porous so now you need a non-toxic waterproofing agent! Tread slow mate little frogs to think about regards Stu ps little man"s nose sorted?

Oh I will. I've seen a few other people use it with dart frogs and they seem to be holding up well, the key seems to be only using a very thin level of cement, then it's a matter of sorting out the PH levels.

My Tinc tanks is being constructed out of cardboard, polystyrene, expanding foam and epoxy resin. There are many different methods used and all are safe providing the correct materials are used and every thing is sufficiently water sealed.
