Default my bull frog keeps hiding

we have a beautiful bullfrog but we never see him he is always bury`ing himself in the eco earth is this normal? should i change the substrate to orchid bark?

no thats normal, pretty much all they do is bury themselves and sit and wait for food to go by then grab it. I would stick with the eco earth, bark is not really a good substrate as the frogs tend to eat some with there food which can course compaction
