When you clean out your reptiles and their dishes and things where do you do it?I am taking my things outside and using a bucket of hotwater and cloths, which I dispose of and my beardie and chameleon I use reptile disinfectant.I just hate cleaning their bowls which they have pooed in and wonder what you all do??I dont want to use the sink in my kitchen thanks Jackie

I tip the fouled water out of my window.
Falls onto the garden out front haha.
I use reptile disinfectant with my amphibians. Should I not be?

Tip the water onto the garden (should be good fertiliser too!) - Spray the bowl - Wipe it with kitchen roll - Put kitchen roll in my bin (which is usually a plastic bag hanging on my door)

That's my routine anyway. Defo wouldn't use the sink! Mother would kill me.

My neighbours would love me if I chucked a frogs shedded skin out onto my path or a froggy poo

I don't use the sink because I don't have a sink in my room.

In the summer, I use the soiled water from all my herps to water the balcony- instant liquid fertilizer!Plus, less wasted water.

Winter, I generally tip it down the loo. I wash my stuff in the kitchen sink- why not? I'm washing it to get it clean! And I clean my sink after I wash anything- so what's different?

frog shit is great fertiliser... you only have to look at the healthyness of the plants in a mature dartfrog viv to see this...
