Default New to Amphibians

Hi folks
Advise please....
Thinking of getting a tree frog....
Which is best for beginner?
Are there any that are not nocturnal? (Sorry can't think of the correct word )
Good books to read?
Is it best to keep more than one in an enclosure?
What's better, an x-fish tank (sterelized) or new set-up, what sort? Ect,etc?????????????
Any help would be much appreciated.
Happy New Year to you all.

The word is... *drum roll* diurnal!

For the best part tree frogs are nocturnal. I think this is because they tend to sleep during the day and then hunt for food at night, avoiding predators.
Having said that... Diurnal species probably do exist. But I can't think of any.

White's tree frogs are definitely the best beginner's choice. Hardy little guys. I have two in a 45x45x60 exo terra, and they are quite active at night time!
I wouldn't pop them in a fish tank. They need good ventilation.
You can have as many White's as you like together! As long as there is enough space of course.

Other good starter tree frogs (of which I have no experience) are; Peacock frogs and Vietnamese Blues.

If you want a diurnal species, Fire Bellied Toads are excellent to begin with. Although they aren't tree frogs.
