Default White's Tree Frogs

Hi there
We are looking into getting a couple of Whites tree frogs and i was just wanted to ask a few question before buying.
I have read lots of different care sheets and done some research on them but was just wondering about the viv.
I know they mostly recomend 24 x 18 x 24 but could you have smaller for while they are young and small?
My son really likes the exo terra 12 x 12 x 12.
Would this be big enough for them til they get bigger?

Also has anyone used a fogger in with them or is this a no-no?
Thanks
Eve

Hey there!
I have two White's in a 45x45x60 (cms)
Although when they were smaller I kept them in a 30x30x45 and they seemed quite content!
Being arboreal frogs I would say the 30x30x30 wasn't tall enough.

Fogger isn't necessary at all as they don't need high humidity. The wax in their skin retains moisture. Keep the humidity at around 40-60%.

to be honest, i'd buy the bigger tank now, saves you money in the long run, plus they grow very fast, in a matter of a few months they will have outgrown the smaller viv.

I agree with the previous advice regards Humidity and the viv, they don't need high levels of humidity. but being arboreal they do need height so go for the bigger viv

Tanks for your help all of you, ill get the bigger viv then, i werent sure on the growth rate so thought it best to ask first.
We are getting it next week so we can get it all set up before getting the frogs.

Another quick question : can they live with oter types of frog or only same species?
My other son is interested in getting a different type of frog but hes not sure which yet.
Could we put a ground dwelling frog with them?

White's will eat anything that can fit in their mouth so it's probably best you keep them seperate.
