a fully grown pac man bite hurts... once they latch on they can hang on quite a while if they want to as well... running cold water over its face doesn't get it off either, the credit card method so popular on small snakes didn't work either.. had to prize the little bugger off with forceps. Yes it drew blood

I've been had many a time and from my experiance it only really hurts if you pull your hand away, if you let them clamp down and then free your hand gently they don't usually draw blood but if you yank your hand out then they will. I've got some pictures somewhere of the bite marks.

I've never ever seen a frog of any sort bite anyone. So cheers for the links.

Simple answer yes it hurts. I have been tagged a couple of times by monitors in the past and I agree with pollywog if you pull your hand it tends to do more damage but in doing so its just a natural reflex to pull away. Adult pixies can inflict very painful bites, even smaller fantasy frogs can hurt.
