Smile budding frog newbie

after watchtin the 'life in cold blood' dvd set over xmas id like to try my hand at keepin some tropical frogs or something. ive already got a large mesh top exo terra viv 60x60x45 i used to start my baby chams off in, could i use this to house them and what would i need to change?
ive had chams in the past and am currently keeping tropical fish so am not completly new to sort of thing.
also what would be a good starter frog, i would like somethink colourfull if pos. what foods do you guys use? temps, humidities, etc
any help would be good

welcome! your first port of call is research read as many care sheets and websites as you can, before you start. the size tank you have is perfect for tree frogs, and whites tree frogs are an excellent first frog! hardy species and are entertaining to watch

you can quickly and easily decorate a tank to suit these frogs, buy some plastic hanging plants with the suckers on the back, a few vines and climbing areas, a good substrate (which I use) is eco earth or similar, large water bowl, cleaned and refilled with 'frog safe' water each day, live foods, such as crickets, and that's pretty much the basics. of course there are few more in's and outs, as you'll read on the care sheets.

such as heat mats, lighting etc...

I second this advice.

White's are a great frog to start with! But if you want a bit more colour then Peacock Tree Frogs or Vietnamese Blues are good too.
