i have two, they're just starting to show signs of changing colour, an also yesterday when i changed the water in my sals pool i found a dead baby it looked very small didnt look like it would of survived long but a shame none the less. good luck with your young guys!

Just remember that when you start to see the sals colours emerging, then its time to start thinking about making sure they can climb out of the water, as they will start the transition to dry land as the lungs start to form, if they cant get out the water, then they will drown.

still no sign of any more, mum is still hanging around the pool area so im still hopefull, baby still doing fine.

any more yet ben? im still on just the 1!! she still looks fat and is hanging around the pool a bit more than she used to, no underdeveloped babys.....no duff eggs....nothing, just 1 baby sal!

Hi, yes i have 7 now, plus a few others, have to keep checking, as they randomly drop them, last lot from this female were in january, and then again now!!!

Thats a very short time between broods isnt it!! Can they have broods at different stages coming along internally at the same time do you think? Or has she gone through the whole process again since jan??? Mine has been gravid since autumn when i got her, and then just 1 baby, and you get two sets in 2 months! That cant be fair!

AH. You got yourself one of dem dare hillbilly types poppin out dem young-ens without a thought on where ta put dem all. No wonder they start callin em al somethin Bob, cant be sure which is which after a while.
