Default Your advice on rock bottom

HI. I have taken a picture of the build I am working on just now and would like your advice...I had actually meant to do more of a background but got carried away with the planters. I have made it in two parts and the large area has access under it so the toads can sit under it if they wish as mine spend loads of time squished between underwater cracks in the cobbles. I had actually made it to fit a 24 x 12'' but one of the planters are going to be a little tall...what do you think so far?

Think they look wonderful - planter too tall.....nah....so many plants to choose from there are plenty that can go in there and still look hawt.......what else do I think.......I think you should make a uber waterfall feature using the same method so it can give me an idea as I am brain dead at the moment and NEED to be inspired..........PLEASE INSPIRE ME!!!!!! you know you can......

you are funny. As I say, I did actually mean to do a background...but that was not how it turned out. My tank is only 12'' tall, and that wil only leave 3'' of room for a plant but I was drinking at the time so...

Waterfall would be fun! But I dont have a tank for that right now, guess I could give a try for the heck of it...when I have finsihed this...what tank do you need inspiration for? (size and animal) I will pour myself a drink and have a look for you

OoOoOoOOoo has been 20 years since I had a drink.......is that how you make your creations so realistic? I know when I am pissed.....angry pissed that is - my artwork takes a whole new form as is pretty good lol.
I am trying to plan a mossy frog enclosure - the viv is either a 45x45x45 or
60x45x45. So as there isn't much height...can't vision a wow effect waterfall...
Also needing a land area where it is sunken my around 3-4 inches so that crickets can't jump out but mossys can jump down to eat.
My method would normally be then covered with silicon and moss or coco husk.....but looking at your stone effect - I think would look much more natural.
So hurry....get a few drinks down and be my muse....

What about having a drip wall? It would look awesome...and at the bottom you could have a rock area for feeding. With a fern and a large vine or wood for broms, and some water planting it would look great!

I have a drip wall one - only drip coz I used a small pump...would have prefered a gushing lol.....drips down a moss covered waterfall onto bogwood...which does look loverly.......but I vision a cascading waterfall....just can't work out how to make water cascade at such a low lvl.

i'd like to see these ideas as well... i may be doing a 45 cube soon as well and i'd like to have a rocky waterfall and a bit of land set up without taking up too much of the space at the bottom so i can make it more of a paludarium type with some small fish in it.

i was maybe thinking mangroves type look as well... but i don't really know!

i have to ask since curiosity got the better of me... why do you have so much polystyrene hun? and can i use any polystyrene for it? i've never done it before as you can tell... but i understand the concept and have read loads of threads on these kinds of builds.
