This is most probably a Papua New Guinea lineage White's Tree Frog. :wink:

thanks guys - i was told yesterday that if i put a red light in with him he would go more turquoise. does anyone know if that is true or harmful?
he's a murderer cos he ate the long tailed lizard that i put in with him after under an our of co-habiting. i was given very wrong advice it appears although no-one i've asked has ever heard of a white's doing that before thanks thorr - was wondering which he might be. i've just cleaned his tank out and he's grumpy and gone a livery green-brown at the minute. i'm so amazed by the range in his colour over a matter of seconds.

i guess so - worrying though as white's are apparently always hungry. he had just had his fair share of crickets but with an appetite like his i suppose that means very little

I once did an experience with my own White Tree Frogs,they ate a dozen morio worms,and 2 pinkie mice each

some good and some bad news
the bad first i moved kif's tank closer to my study window and shortly after the start of saturday's thunderstorm he had managed to burst his way out of the tank. hopefully on a magical adventure around my flooded, heavily wooded garden - closest he will have to a rainforest in derby i'm afraid. i turned over all of the bark, in his hides, food bowl, in his leaves, took out his new 3d background and he was nowhere to be seen. the good (and bizarre) news about five hours later i went int othe study to check sometihng online and who should be sitting in his water bowl - the evil mr kif. has anyone ever had this happen before?
