I got my 3 about a week ago. theyre doing fine but their tank seems to get murky really quickly. I cant seem to find anything in there that might be doing it? I clean up their food after theyve finished and they have a filter and stuff. does anyone know why this could be? Or am i meant to be changing the water everyday. I just dont wanna put them through loadsa stress by doing this.

I got mine for 20quid each, but i know people who have got them for a fiver or so. ive got 3 in a 4ft tank but 3ft is fine. i think they can grow up to about 45/50cm? so i've been told. The tank should be about 75% full. You dont need a heater becoz heat can stress them out, their tank should be around 15 degrees. its best to get an external filter that has a really slow setting as axolotls dont like currents
