Default My bettas :D

Not as pretty as the crowntails, halfmoons, deltas etc seen here too but I love them & I cant wait for some my male and a few females to be ready from Sweetcorn and thats my lot then ill officially be out of room

Candy

Ferrari - He's just so easy to photograph

Puddles - He has soo much attitude, I have to catch him off guard to be seen in a none flare state :P

Raindrop

New boy - I need a name, ideas? The second picture isnt very good of him but shows his colours best, he is pretty drab pearly/gold with washed out red fins.

Gorgeous fish guys I used to have one just like your new boy called Strudel.....he had a super personality.

I'm a bit suspicious of your first two females though.....they look like young males to me and very similar to 2 that we bought as females but weren't. Could explain why they've got nips to their fins too.

This is how one ended up looking like and the other we sold on. The males have very long ventrals compared to the females.

Looking at them closer I think 3 of them have longer ventrals that the other two, im guessing if they are male they will be plakats? That will be a pain as ive been told absolutly no more tanks

If you got them from a local fish shop they may take them back. We had the same thing happen. We bought 8 females and 3 turned out to be male.....we kept one, sold one and took the other back to the shop. This happens so often as it's really difficult to spot the males when they are young as they tend to display classic female signs.

Then you end up with the problem of more and more tanks
