Default MY little pond :D

Tis just a likkle pond but I wanted it more as a focus for planting and lighting/water features in the garden rather than fish (big pond may come next year?)

What ya think....

Excuse the mess on the right of the bottom pic - that area is being flagged this weekend with some yellow/gold paving to match the golden stone.

The pond currently has nothing in apart from an underwater colour change spotlight and pump/filter.

As it is only quite small, I may put a couple of comets in there but can't see me putting anything larger in.

lol thanks MAtt

It is only dinky but I didn't want anything too overpowering - just a little corner off my decking and new pation where I could sit and reflect on the day with a book and a brew

We have planted Eucalyptus trees at the other end of the garden and honeysucle to screen out the people at the back of us and have got part way through the rest of the work before the astro turf is laid - totally skint for the rest of my life now but I will so enjoy seeing the kids in the garden in the summer hols

I went today and bought 2 teeny little comets - an all red one and a red and white one lolol

Can't say I will get pics as I probably won't be able to catch them!

~Update - the kids summer house has now been revamped! It began as a shed looking dark wood wendy house, we have ut a new doorway inside, extended it out sideways, covered the whole lot with a flap type wood lol The window was painted and leaded by a friend's mum and the other windows are all toughened safety glass and the side wall windows are double glazed
