I'm not a fishy person but they all look neat! What's the fish in the backround of the first picture?

they're jaw locking

cichlids often do it when fighting or as part of breeding behaviour (to select the strongest partner)

it is actually breeding behavior in that pic. the lighter coloured one was more dominent and as a result the other one died!
