Just gotten the baby mouse out of the freezer for my baby Cornsnake, not handled either snake today, may tomorrow as I've got some spare time then, need to remember to do this before I feed the little one as I've read that they shouldn't be handled after and I don't want her to regurguate her meal!

Checked on the tarantulas, same as ever, need to track down some smaller containers for them.

The snails all seem ok, I might feed them again, the don't usually need feeding...

I would like to know if there are any crested gecko morphs that have emerged recently and are generally not available on a commercial scale as yet.

So we've had him for a week now, here's what's happened to date:

Day 1:
Got snake, letting him settle
Day 2:
He's obviously a bit nervous, striking at me through the glass, letting him settle more
Day 3:
Named snake: Sir Shizzle, still letting him settle
Day 4:
Still letting him settle, placed hand in viv to let him smell me etc but not picking him up
Day 5:
Successfully took him out and fed him, cleaned his viv a bit and put in...

new to this blog thing.....so will give it a go...just waiting for the owner of one of the dragon i have here on holiday to ring to say his wife has had here baby and the dragon can then go home......she is due any day
