Why has my Yemen stopped eating??????

HI All
Would appreciate your help on this one, I've had Gismo now since April so all this is new to me, I've read up as much as I can on his habits but I'm just a little concerned at the moment because he hasn't eaten any live food for 7days, he still chomps happily through his salad but he seems to have adopted the last three locusts I put in his tank, they even sit on his head!!!!! some preditor!!!!
Originally we bought live food from a local shop, but to keep cost down we went to live food direct, he ate both of these brands of locust without a second thought, however when I forgot to tell my Dad to reorder from LFD we had to go back to the local supplier and then his feeding habits changed! could they be so different from the two sources???
He's shed three times since we got him and it looks as though he's beginning again, do they fast before sheds? should I have him checked over?
Gonna try him with the LFD locust again now we've had them delivered but would welcome your comments.
Cheers

it not unusual for them to be picky where there food is concerned are u changing his insects reg ? varitiy is the key grass hoppers being a fav. Sheading can also be a reason as it makes them uncomfortabale but he wouldnt be eating his veg if that was the case
