Well, today is my birthday, another year older and all that malarkey...

So, how am I celebrating this joyous occasion?
By doing the exact same thing I do everyday, messing about on the internet and doing housework type stuff.

I may have a bath in a minute and force myself to leave the house, but that is still being debated over.

To be honest, I don't get too excited about birthdays, Christmas .. or any other celebratory type thing where you give/receive...

I like pretty much all types from the Sex Pistols to Beethoven...

I listen to music quite a lot, and I often have a song stuck in my head ..... usually something really random that I haven't heard for ages ...

For example, the current song in my head is Kenny Rogers ~ The Gambler....

Usually I only have to listen to a song once and I can remember all the lyrics, if I could sing in tune I could have used that...

So, boyfriend and I decided to order some Chinese tonight.... but the menu we have is out of date .. we know this because the last couple of times we have ordered a set meal, the food that comes is different to what it says on the menu.

I thought it would be a good idea to get a new menu so that we knew what we were ordering.

We both got in the car, drove to the Chinese takeaway, picked up a menu, drove back home.

On the way back home we picked what we wanted...

Not the cooked dead pig stuff, the place in Germany....

Decided to make a road trip of it....

It all started around 23:45 on Thursday 9th September when Skimsa's flight landed in Bristol airport....

Left my house at 09:00 Friday morning, drove 130 miles to a pick up Ashmashmash, then a further 90 miles to get on the Eurotunnel....

Met up with another car load of RFUKers and on the train we got ... well, after our car was checked over by security...

Ok, enough of that....

Got to the show and started queuing at 11:23, the queue was HUGE!!!!
By 11:53 had moved about 20 foot...

While waiting saw a couple of forummers come and go join the back of the queue, then two others who stayed with us chatting about how slow moving the queue seemed to be and whether we should go to the pub for a couple of hours and come back later.
