Much to report today, Nelly is about to molt, she's been looking off colour for a few days now and she's definitely very close to shedding her skin.
The Tarantula Isis, my Brazilian Salmon pink birdeater, molted as expected a few days ago, and also I have a clutch of snail eggs that had gone unnoticed and have started hatching.
I'm usually pretty good at finding the eggs and "aborting" them before they have a chance to mature, I missed one clutch though, will check on them shortly to check how many roughly appear to be presently viable, it looks like I'll be taking some Giant African pink-lipped land snails back to university with me, fun fun fun!
I'm also about to transfer my smallest tarantula into a smaller container, as I think the margarine tub's a little big for her! I hope Nelly looks good in her new skin!
Orinoco, my baby cornsnake is also just fine, just taken a mouse out of the freezer to feed her later on!
