1. Aww hes not biting you anymore! good stuff, love the blog.. how long till you move out?

I'm at uni the now, so its gonna be a while, at least 3 years (this is going to be a long blog, will stop once i get to "Operation: own a snake until i move out without my mum finding out (4000)")

Another thing - Last time I fed Houdini was pretty cool. Normally I just chuck the pinkies in the box, add snake, put the lid on and leave it for a while. This time tho when I went to put Houdini in he noticed the pinkies before he even got in, curled himself around my finger then struck at the pinkie and devoured it while still attached to me

I feel like we bonded that night, like we were stalking the mice as a team (granted it was the equivelant of shooting fish in a barrell, but...

This is the Xmas special of the blog (and like all other Xmas specials: theres buggerall special about it except its happening around xmas)

Anyway: Houdini and I are both fine and my immediate family are still none the wiser. I'm contemplating upping his food size from pinkie to fuzzy in the near future, and getting him a bigger RUB (i already own the RUB, but it is being harboured by DiegoTheDestroyer for now cos i have nowhere to put it).

For the clever folks out there (if any1 has actually read this yet) who have been wondering about the practicalities of my plan as far as feeding goes: its a severe pain in the arse as a bag of mice in the freezer would be quite a large hint that there is something in the house that has a taste for mice, and since my poofy dog turns her nose up at anything that isnt Caesar, i cant exactly blame it on her. Also: that just happens to be another thing that my mother is deathly afraid of. So wot i'm...

Just recently was the most horribly tense night of the operation: i got a new TV and had to feed the power cable into the snake cupboard, and i needed the Sister's help for this. Help from my sister is unlike help from anyone else: it must be taken when it is offered or it will never be offered again, so when she said "i'll be through to help you in a minute" I knew my time was limited... Houdini's tub was yanked (carefully) from his cupboard and thrown (again, carefully) under the bed...
