Please Can someone advise me on sexing leos?

Posted 23-05-2009 at 07:55 PM by theleopardgeko
Hi everyone, I have two leopard geckos and I have decided I want to breed them but unfortunatley I may not have a male and female. I know at least one is female because I got some eggs a couple of years ago- does there have to be a male involved to get eggs? I am almost sure one is a female but the other I am unsure on. He (or she) seems to have the hemipenile bulges but not dark v shape. Thee seems to be a v shape lighter than the rest of its skin though! Please Watch my video of this gecko as it will help you help me determine the sex of the gecko in question: "theseus the leopard gecko-male or female? "
Thanx a lot everyone!

easy. right behind the slit where its tale starts, if it has 2 lumps, look like testicles, its a male. if it doesnt. its a female.
