is actually a little girl so we'll be looking to breed her in the future (not for a year and a bit yet tho)
I was wondering how the best way to incubate the eggs would be as all videos I've seen on youtube are american and it's warmer over there than here (so i'm guessing a plastic container with moist 'perlite' won't suffice)
going to the Doncaster Reptile show for the first time in a couple of weeks so I'm hoping to learn more there too as we're new to these little guys.
I have hatched many a crested gecko with this method....a small cricket box or braplast flip lid box half filled with damp perlite (no drips if you squeeze a handful) and then half bury the eggs (in the same position you found them...no rolling!) .
This tub then gets closed with the lid and placed in a polystyrene box, with a heatmat on the bottom, thermostat set to 25C and basically that is it! open it every once in a while to make sure its not too dry and to ventilate the eggs and in 60 days or so, you shoudl have babies!
I got the polystyrene box from a local aquarium shop, they tend to get their fish deliveries in them and usually give them away free or for a small amount..
