Default another sleepless night so a question for all you corn buffs

hotter than the goby desert our bedroom tonight temp that is, so i thought id put pen to paper so to speak.just returned to the hobby after ten years absence and im amazed how far advanced the morphes have become esp the royals.
anyway iv decided not to go down the python track again and concentrate on corn breeeding ,less space smaller food etc.
iv noticed a lot of variation in colour and pattern in alot of these morphes,iv got bloodred thats virtully a dark solid red with very little black pigment yet i see pictures of bloodreds for sale carrying a hell of alot of black, anerys the same some advertised are virturly blk others are the same colour as my snake sold as a ghost.
anychance of you corn breeders running a masterclassand what would you recomend as a base breeding stock to produce quality maybe some new morphes also there any set standards to follow. ok that will do me for now until i think of some thing else

As small time breeders with limited space we decided to base most of our current and future projects around the Lavender gene (Lavender, Hypo Lavender, Opal, Snopal, Lavender Ghost, Plasma, Hypo Plasma, Blopal and Hypo Blopal with a nice bit of Motley and Stripe scattered about for good measure).

However a lot of the current in demand morphs are Caramel based (Butter, Caramel Bloods, Sulfur, Topaz etc) so you can't really go wrong there either.

Bloodred based stuff is always pretty interesting too.

If my budget wasn't limited I'd be getting myself some Cinder's though.

hmm im hoping to go down the butter route but have got some nice hatchlings to play around with but its so easy to get sidetracked. hoping for somethin big in the next 5yrs wich will involve normal het's amel, caramel, charcoal, diffused and stripe. but the chance's of producing a great morph are not great odds but fingers crossed
