Rat snakes

Hi im looking to breed my two rat snakes they are both bairds both 4 years never been put together both in brilliant condition, i just wondered does anyone know the general breeding season for them, like what month to put them together. I have a book on breeding corns just wondered if it goes on the same principle.

find a cornsnake sheet , follow that, exactly the same except they can do the wild thing a bit later. but ur looking at cooling this winter for spring 2010

If you already have a book on corn breeding it's likely to have better information in it than contradictory care sheets, so I would follow that.

As above, follow the basic principles set out for corns.
The American rats do breed a bit later than corns though, so I would try them together NOW. You might just get lucky and get an end of season pairing from them. The worst that can happen is that they totally ignore each other, so nothing to lose in trying.
