Default Corns, Pre lay Shed...

Does it last longer than a normal shed?

I think my girl is in her pre lay shed, she has signs of being gravid, although subtle. Sh eis looking more 'triangular by the day though.

She was in blue on 4th/5th of this month, and would usually have shed by 7th, but still hasn't shed, although she is cleared.

So, does this indicate it is a pre lay shed?

Thankyou.

The triangle shape of the body is quite a good sign she is about to go into a pre-lay shed. The muscles that hold the eggs up seem to drop just before laying to give the snake a triangle looking shape, with the back bone looking more visible.

Thankyou. It is quite subtle, but she is definitely triangular. She also refused her first ever feed since I have had her just before she went blue.

I've put a lay box in anyway, just in case.

It's one of your babies actually. An amel stripe het for anery, hypo and poss. caramel. Bred to a boy the same. She is quite yellowy/pale, but he is bright orange, so I am wondering if she is het for caramel, and he isn't?! But time will tell.....

He is in with my caramel girl now, so I'll soon find out hopefully....

Thanks. I am certain she is gravid, I think I felt about 12 eggs inside her.

Hopefully she'll lay soon, it's driving me mad waiting!
