Default forgive me if this is stupid

ive been keeping snakes for years and should know this by now, but is there any reason why you cant cycle your snakes any time of year? for instance cool them in the summer and breed them in the winter?

No reason why you cant, just hard thing to do as if you are trying to cool in the summer and you get a blazing hot week then even the best air con probably wont take it cool enough. It is easier to cool with the seasons plus also I personally think as the pressure changes when the wet weather comes in that this plays a key role too and this is not something we can recreate. Some lizards that dont require additional heating actually seem to get the seasons switched because of the central heating coming on in the winter.
