Default Gecko Difficulties

I decided to introduce my two Geckos today, they're both at breeding weight and around 2 years. Anyway, my problem is, although the male is obviously ready to breed and was chasing the Female around trying to bite on, she showed no interest what so ever and ran away or bit him back.
Needless to say after 5 minutes I removed the female, and left the male alone once he'd given up the chase.
Anyone have any idea why this might be, am I just too far out of breeding season?

Your most probably too far out of the season, but I'm not sure foir certain. Wait untill next breeding season and try again would probably be the best thing.
