Default behaviour before laying--LEOs?????

simple one I hope


What kind of behaviour can i expect in the 7-10days before laying eggs????

Not alot tbh

Ive never really noticed anything apart from the 2 eggs you can see really

Theres not much sign of any different behaviour. The only change in behaviour seems to happen on the day that they lay. They get very active looking for a lay sight... also they try to dig at cage furniture or in their lay box. I was lucky enough to watch my Leo laying.

some go off their food a day or so before they lay

thanks, my fem seems to be off her food for a while but still very healthy,(great colour, fat tail, shed fine)
yesterday she did seem to be digging a lot. its been about 5weeks since the male was introduced.
