Default Help?!

EEk! Stupid time to ask, I know....

My first corn stuck it's head out the egg yesterday, and tonight is full yout of the egg. I had planned to leave them in the egg box in the incubator until all the babies had hatched, but none are even pipping yet.

Can it come to any harm in the incubator? Should I take it out or leave it in?

As long as the box is secure then the little one will be fine in the incubator. Some people say leave them in so the movement sparks the others off, I have personally found it makes no difference so I prefer to house them individually as soon as they are fully clear of the egg. Plus that way if you want you can keep tabs on who hatched when or first in a slightly staggered hatching clutch.

Thanks.

I have taken the baby out an dpopped it in a tub with some slightly damp kitchen roll and a small water bowl with hald a loo roll tube as a hide. Is that right?

Panicking really, it's worse than having a human baby!

On the plus side, it didn't bite me when I picked it up!

Only just noticed this post, but by now im sure you know everything is spot on so far. Wait for first shed then treat just like any hatchling you would buy, wait 2 days after first shed before offering food and just dump in a pinky, but dont be overly worried if they dont take the first feed as some take longer to absorb all the yolk. Good luck with the little ones and pics when the rest decide to show themselves.

Thanks. Four out of the eggs completely now, four heads out and two eggs not pipped yet. All look to be amel stripes so far, but Mum and Dad are het for anery, hypo and maybe butter, so was hoping for at least one snow stripe! Maybe i'll be lucky with the last two eggs, but I am doubting it...

Thanks for the help.
