leo egg question urgent replys please

hi all
my leo egg in the incubator is losing its white shell and going like am orange colour and going soft
when candeled it looks fine inside can see a dark patch and can see the red veins
its at day 80 now
so how long do i leave it???
my biggest worry is that if the babys inside then its having trouble getting out and will die
is that possible?
any help would be greatly appreciated

If it is at day 80 and is starting to do that then its due to hatch, they sometimes go sightly transparent too

Also just to point out that there isnt always someone online who specialises in this particular area so it can take a while to get a response.

whenever it decides to hatch... just a waiting game i'm afraid x

80 days is quite a while (all of mine have been 30ish days) - what temp is your incubator at and what are you using as an incubator?

Try not to worry as I've had eggs not hatch untill after 84 days when incubated at 80°F and some peoples Leo eggs have taken up to 100 days. As long as the egg has not collapsed and gone mouldy then it should be ok.

at 80F it will hatch before 100 days so not long now, have you candled it recently to see if there is a dark mass in there yet ?

yea candeled it last week and there is definutly a lil black mass in there in the centre near the top
