Default Leo has laid 26 eggs this year so far

My Leo doesn't seem to want to stop laying eggs this year and last night found numbers 25 and 26 of the season. She has lost about 6g in weight and her tail is not looking as fat as it has been. She is still eating well on locusts and is getting plenty of calcium. Just hoping she will be ok as 26 eggs seems alot and wondering if anyone else has had a Leo lay this many eggs in a season.

I`ve had two first timers who have each now laid 22 eggs EACH this season - opposed to a couple who`ve only laid 4!!! Dread to think how many the 22 girls will lay in the coming seasons if this is what they`re like in ther first - though, they have some how managed to put on a few gram instead of losing it! They`re housed together too, so it may be a case of hormonal influence, or a bit of a competition between them, who know? haha!!!

* luckily, it looks like that`s it for the season now though *

Sounds like she needs a medal! Hope you have lots of room in the incubator. If you're worried about her weight you could try offering her a pinkie mouse if she'll take it.

My 2 have done 9 and 13 respectively and stopped, yours (and funky's) seem to be egg machines !

Both of mine were first timers and I've had a few probs, the last clutch laid look duff off my Bell.
As they are all set up the same way in the same incubator, I think it's just natures way....
What's been your hatch rate off all these so far ?
