Default Electric Blue Gecko Egg laid in arkward place.

Hi i noticed this morning that my female electric blue gecko Storm had laid I egg. I know alot of people recomend protecting the egg, but the thing is she has laid it in a really arkward place. I have a exo terra viv and she has laid the egg ontop on the backing right at the back of the viv, in the dip.I will post some pics later.
Has anyone got any ideas of how i can protect the egg, i dont think my pair would harm the egg but i dont know how im gona catch the baby if its not enclosed.

I don't know if I am reading this right, but do you mean in the recess? If so, then I would suggest that you cut a section of cricket tub (or similar) and tape it into place over the area. If the egg protrudes slightly you can use the same method but with the corner/ edge of the tub.

I guess this depends on the rooms temerature! Of course this is broadly correct, however incubation duration will be much longer at lower temperatures, and hatch success may be affected. You may also consider the effect it will have on sex determination if they are (and I believe they are) subject to TDSD.
