Default timor monitor advice

can anyone tell me if i need to remove the male for the female to lay her eggs, they stated breeding last night, how long does it take till she will be ready to lay, any help advice on this or anything else would be great, thanks.

Hiya mate if you post this in the Monitor & tegu thread, you will probably get a quicker answer, I do know of two memebrs on here who should be able to help you,cas they have both had Timors just PM them.

Hi mate.
As has been said, in my experience you dont need to remove the male. But mine couldn't fit into the nest box as the female could. So keep an eye out for eggs.
Usuaslly lay around 21 days after first successful mating has taken place.

P.s mine were V. Auffenbergii (peacock monitors), but they are very similar.
